Position Summary

The Entry-Level B2B Outside Sales Representative is a customer-facing role focused on developing new business and supporting existing accounts within an assigned territory. This position is ideal for motivated early-career professionals looking to build a long-term career in consultative, territory-based sales. The role emphasizes prospecting, relationship building, and collaboration with internal teams to drive territory growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell assigned products and solutions within a defined geographic territory and/or customer portfolio
  • Develop new business through outbound prospecting, lead generation, and in-person sales calls
  • Support territory growth through a team-based selling approach alongside other sales professionals
  • Participate in local and national sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Qualify prospects, gather customer requirements, and identify new sales opportunities
  • Track and follow up on leads, inquiries, and sales activity using internal systems and tools
  • Deliver product demonstrations and sales presentations as needed
  • Participate in ongoing sales and product training, both locally and in the field
  • Collaborate with branch teams and internal departments to ensure successful sales execution and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • Less than two years of related experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to safely operate equipment for demonstration purposes

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with effective time-management abilities
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic CRM or sales tools
  • Willingness to work outside standard business hours when needed to support sales activities
